HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SKIS?
The main and most important criterion for choosing the right skis is that they are comfortable to ride and that you have the right enjoyment. You can use our section to help you choose your skis selection advisor skis, where a selector will choose the most suitable skis based on the parameters you select.
Even though the selector is set to match your requirements as closely as possible, you cannot take the selector result as the only correct option. The best option is to go to your nearest dealer and rent the skis and try them out. Then decide based on your feelings.
WHERE CAN I TRY OUT LUSTI SKIS?
During the season we and many of our dealers organize testing events in various parts of the Czech Republic and abroad. At these events you can test almost the complete range of LUSTi skis.

And if you can't make it, there is the option of renting the models you want at our dealers' permanent test centres. Only you know what skis are best for you and it is in our interest that you are really satisfied with our product.
CAN I MAKE A SKI/SNOWBOARD WITH MY OWN DESIGN?
Of course. Skis with custom designs are very popular at the moment. You can put practically anything on your skis that a regular printer will print, i.e. any pictures, photos, names, etc. It's better to avoid colours like silver, gold or various luminous colors, which the printer can't print.
HOW DO I GO ABOUT CREATING MY OWN DESIGN?
You or your designer will create the design in any graphic editor. The design must be in the shape of a rectangle. At the same time, you have to take into account that it will be cut into the shape of a ski, so avoid details in the edge of the design that are important to you.
The rectangle must have the following dimensions:
- ski length + 20 mm
- width of the ski (at the widest point) + approx. 5 mm, but the maximum width of the rectangle can be 135 mm
The dimensions of the skis can be found in the details of each product.
The design you provide should preferably be in PDF or JPG format. The delivery time in low season is 2-3 weeks and the delivery time in high season is about 4-6 weeks, or by agreement. For a custom design there is an extra charge of 1500 CZK (off peak season 1. 4. - 31. 7.) and 3000 CZK (in high season 1.8. - 31. 3.).
CAN I BUY SKIS WITHOUT BINDINGS?
The lifespan of a binding is usually double that of a ski. LUSTi is one of the few manufacturers that allows you to buy only skis without bindings fitted. Skis can therefore be purchased either individually in our recommended set or in a set of your choice with bindings from our range.
The bindings we offer are from the Italian brand VIST.
If you decide to order a set, we will fit the bindings to your skis and if you send us your boot size (= skeleton size in mm), we will fit the bindings for you. The only thing you have to adjust yourself is the release force of the binding.
CAN I HAVE MY SKIS SERVICED?
We will of course provide you with ski service. Since August 2007, we have been using one of the best machines in the country to sharpen LUSTi skis. It is the MONTANA MODULAR ENERGY II machine, which performs all operations without operator intervention. Therefore, skis sharpened in this way have always the same parameters.
