Lighter
In production, the developers started from the proven ION binding platform. The result is a ZED binding that has the same parameters as much heavier modern ski touring bindings, but in a much lighter and simpler design. In this respect, ZED has no competition.

  • Single screw to adjust cross and forward shutoff
  • A simple, minimalist boot stop (Boot stop) that effectively guides it when you fasten the binding. 100% in difficult terrain.
  • Economical shapes offer maximum performance at minimum weight

He can do more
ZED - a simple and effective binding that has a simplified set of functions that save valuable grams.

  • QuickFlick bollards, easy to control even with a ski pole
Swivel foot for touring (both directions)
  • Assembly and all binding adjustments can be done with a single screwdriver (Position no. 3)
  • The heel can be moved longitudinally up to 30 mm for proper adjustment
  • The jaws are so strong that they don't mind the snow
  • The tip and the brake are designed so that snow does not accumulate in them and the binding is easy to put on

It lasts longer
ZED, which has the same parameters as much heavier modern ski touring bindings, but in a much lighter and simpler design. A light, simple binding is of no use to you if it doesn't hold up.

  • Optimal tip elasticity maximizes absorbed energy and minimizes unwanted tripping
  • Forward pressure in the heel in the range of 10mm for constant pressure and contact with the boot during ski deflection
  • The wide grip of the binding better transfers power to the ski and makes it difficult to pull it off
  • A wide heel support with a metal base makes it easier and more precise to transfer power to the ski
  • Optional brake that is easy to put on and take off
  • Compatible with the ION crampon for icy routes
